About the hospital

A private hospital built around calm and clarity.

The hospital exists to make private emergency and specialist care feel less overwhelming — through unhurried consultation, honest communication, and an environment designed for privacy.

Our story

How the hospital began.

Thames Private was conceived around a simple idea: urgent and specialist care should feel clinically rigorous without feeling hurried. The hospital brings consultant-led assessment, thoughtful diagnostics, and private recovery into one connected experience, so patients and families can understand what is happening at every stage. This is design-stage copy and will be refined with the hospital's confirmed history before launch.

Purpose

Care that is measured, personal, and clear.

The hospital's purpose is to combine clinical skill with genuine attentiveness. Every patient is treated as an individual with their own concerns, questions, and preferences — and every stage of care is explained before it happens.

Principles

Three principles guide everything we do.

Clinical governance

Care is structured, reviewed, and accountable. Clinical content published on this site is approved before it is made public.

Privacy

Discretion is treated as a clinical priority. Personal information is handled with care and in line with the hospital's privacy policy.

Communication

Plain language, unhurried conversations, and a named point of contact for every patient.

Environment

Spaces designed to feel calm.

The images below are illustrative staging visuals. Verified photography of the actual facility will replace them before launch.

Safety and quality

Safety and quality governance.

Every service is built around accountable clinical leadership, documented standards, and regular review. Teams work together to identify risk early, explain decisions clearly, and learn from feedback. This design-stage summary will be replaced with the hospital's approved governance statement before launch.

Leadership

A leadership team that sets the standard.

The hospital's clinical and operational leadership is responsible for the standard of care across every service. Verified profiles of the leadership team will be published here when approved. The team shown in imagery on this site is illustrative and is not identified as Thames staff.
